Staff

We are extremely blessed with the staff that God has provided us with here at Stepping Stone. Each one of our staff loves Stepping Stone, loves the people who come through our doors, but most of all, love the Lord. The main focus for all of them is showing that love to those we minister to and telling others of that love. All have had to raise personal support for their family to come and minister here and be willing to trust God fully day to day for their needs. That's not an easy thing to do, but it shows their commitment to God and to this amazing work He's called them to. Please put them on your prayer lists! Specific prayer requests can be found on the newsletter page for each family. Also pray that God will add to our family of staff, that He calls forth more workers to this specific harvest field who will fit our needs and blend into our staff family. Thank you and God bless!

Rick Hall has been the director of Stepping Stone since May of 2002. He is also the founder and president of Mex Quest International that now works hand in hand with Stepping Stone in running fully planned mission trips. He's has worked with Youth Ministry International as a International Youth Leadership Trainer, been a Jr. High youth pastor and owned his own painting company. He and his wife, Kim spent 7 years with Mex Quest taking groups into Mexico on short term trips before coming to Stepping Stone. He and his family are sent out of Calvary Chapel Lynchburg (Pastor Troy Warner) and are now members of Grace Bible Church (Pastor Chad McCartney). They are active in the church helping with the missions program in addition to the work at Stepping Stone. He's been described by others as "a pastor to the pastors" and anyone who knows him knows what a passion and COMpassion he has for pouring out what God has given him into others lives with a love and grace that is few and far between. We thank God for giving LSS such a godly man with such a great vision and passion to help lead us.

Kim Hall is the co-director at the Stepping Stone since May of 2002. and also Vice President of Mex Quest International. She worked with YMI as well as Rick as a International Youth Leadership Trainer. Kim has served along side Rick working with the youth as well and is a Licensed Vocational Nurse with over 20 years of experience. Her role at LSS can range from housekeeping to office personel, to kitchen manager, to nurse, to homeschool teacher, to construction worker assistant. In her 'spare' time, she likes to sing in the choir at Grace, attend Precept Bible study classes and take out other missionary wives to Starbucks, find a comfy chair and chat!

Keith St. Clair is the coordinator for our short term teams that come to LSS and has done an awesome job. He, his wife and kids joined our staff family officially in June of 2007and are sent out of Good View Baptist Church of Goodview, Va. Before coming to Stepping Stone, the St. Clairs served for 2 1/2 years in Jamaica as directors of a deaf school. Keith is also a certified electrition and plummer, something that's come in very handy here! He served as a building inspector for Bedford County for several years and on the rescue squad as an EMT as well. He has also finished one and a half years of pastoral training at Liberty University and will graduate soon with a degree in pastoral studies. Like all of us he has found himself in many roles over the past year and always does what is asked with joy and graciousness, befitting his quiet, gentle spirit.

Carole is Keith's wife and is the leader of our missionary care team, assisted by her girls, Hannah and Rebekah, as well as Kim and volunteer staff. She enjoys taking care of the missionary families who come to LSS and making sure things are clean and ready as well as adding little 'surprises' here and there, like candy and toys on pillows for the kids and gift bags for the missionary wives. Carole is truly gifted in hospitality and is very passionate for the Lord. She's also a great asset in the kitchen, has a 'green thumb' and loves planting things that brighten up our corner of the world and takes care of all the laundry. But even with all these things, her greatest joy and passion is for the Lord followed by being a wife and mother. We appreciate the Lord so much for providing such a great help mate for Keith and staff member for us!
